Reserves: 09.10 (064) db
A double loss to two very well drilled Richmond sides on a day where the ball was sticky rather than slippery. Finals action still looms for both sides and the next game against Hutchins in a fortnight's time at home should be one not to miss.
Reserves - Late in the third quarter

Last
break and still in it

Seniors - Whole game
Injury to Stride was a huge loss but Gowans was a handy inclusion. Brereton also had his first run in the Seniors for some time.

Richmond have made a surge in the second half of the year and always have a good tussle with Uni.
Another 5 goal haul to Joyce.
Cooper was named in the best

Matuszek tackled well as usual but went to hospital so he didn't have to buy me a beer!
Gill was strong in defense.

McEvoy
was in great touch despite some strong defensive attention and kicked three
goals

Fenton
Mark and goal to McEvoy

Tremendous leap from McEvoy

And another one to Joyce...

Gowans
has missed most of the year with injury but was handy.
Gill

Only 3
points down and another Uni v Richmond classic looming.

Hamilton's cheer squad watches Saner take a strong mark.
Hill added speed to the side

Saner

Despite heavy rain during the week, there were many fine marks taken - Matuszek
and Gill

McEvoy, Corbett and Joyce
Mark and goal to Burgess

Burgess, McEvoy and Reeves
Fenton

Sometimes things just don't go right!
And another one to Joyce.......

Men in mud!
Gill had plenty to do and was up to the task.

Richmond lead was out to a couple of goals at the main break.

Poetry
in motion from Reeves and mark to Cracknell
Mark to Nelson and another one to Joyce......

High-flying Fenton

Fisher
and Joyce

Burgess and Fenton

Up
high, down low - doesn't matter. Goal to McEvoy

Cooper, Joyce and Fisher
Another ripper to McEvoy
Late goal to Burgess

Less
than two goals in it.
Mark to Cooper and punch to Brereton who was named in the best.
Two more absolute hangers from McEvoy
Cracknell

Close but not close enough. Richmond were to good on the day but they'll meet again soon. Hutchins at Uni in a fortnight so be there!
