No Reserves pictures - the game must have started early. A cold Winter's day but the Seniors continued their good form and find themselves on top of the ladder. It was pleasing to see many of the players from '92 & '93 Premiership Teams at the game.

Round 13 - Seniors

The ground was surprisingly good considering the rain during the week but still had the potential to produce many "men in mud" photos!

Rippon was named in the best while Fisher and Cracknell also had many touches.

Difficult for McEvoe to take his hangers today

Corbett gets some attention after returning from a broken finger and Stride is valuable as usual.

Hill enjoyed the wet and was named best for Uni.

Wind back the clock! After a late withdrawal by Whittle, Brooksie got a chance to produce a fine snap.

Fenton enjoyed the wet so much he nearly drowned in a lake near the practice wickets.

First break and a handy four goal lead

  Stride flies

Joyce kicked 7 from all angles

A slippery ball but McEvoe still managed to use it well

That's how it's done! 5 for the day and 46 for the year

Hill to Rippon to Joyce - goal! How easy is that?

It's cold and wet -let's get out of here. Five goals up at half time

Joyce snaps from this pocket with this leg and does the same from that pocket with that leg

  Rippon

Another fine snap from Reeves this time

    Brooksie

Good players tend to attract attention McEvoy!

Had to include one "men in mud" shot.

Handy 9 goal lead at the last break

Lovely to see and meet Pete's parents John and Sharon McEvoy. - Go Saints! (Kilda, not Virgils)

Premiership boys enjoying a cleansing ale after lunch at the Syntax

A couple didn't want to get their shoes muddy though - Where were the Blunnies EJ?

Difficult to lose from here but not unheard of.

Another one to Joyce

  Burgess
Happy to win and happy it's over.

Just about the best crowd for the season. Bill Lane in foreground and Sharon McEvoy above the heater.
Players had the 300 Club to look forward to at the good Dr Syntax
