Seniors
:
23.15 (153) d OHA
12.11 (083)
Reserves: 12.09 (081) d
A double win is always welcome. The Reserves have consolidated a place in the top four and the Seniors put last weeks shocker behind them and recaptured some of their winning form.
Round 15 - Reserves last few minutes
Very close indeed
Gowans and Takayama shared the ball around to soak up
the last minute of time.
In the top four with some breathing space.
Seniors - Whole game
A game outside the four and OHA looking for a win against the top side
Uni hoping not to repeat last week's woeful first
quarter.
New meaning to stripping the player of the ball
First of 13 to Joyce
Good to see Stride back in the side and Harrison had
another chance at the top level
Cracknell with a clearing kick
And another to Joyce...
And another to Joyce...
Matuszek doing the tough stuff as usual
Corbett had his best game since returning from injury.
And another to Joyce...
Stride and Anderson were both
named in the best
Curtis gets the ball forward.... and another to
Joyce...
And another to Joyce...
Reeves with his first of two for the day but lost the
competition leading goalkicker position to Joyce
And another to Joyce...
Nelson set up many forward attacks
One of two to Stride
And another to Joyce...
And another to Joyce... Think it was 7 for the
quarter.
Over 7 goals up at the first break.
And another to Joyce...
Fenton with his usual
powerful drives through the centre.
Cracknell and McEvoy
Stride kicks his second...
... and Reeves kicks his second
Matuszek would have to be the
best tackler in the team .....(beer?)
Cracknell and Rippon
And another to Joyce... . A happier coach Burgess than
this time last week.
Anderson and Cracknell have been great assets in their
first year at the club. And another to Joyce...
Thirteen goal to the better
at the long break
Cooper and a fine mark to Joyce who had a rare miss.
Fine marks to Gill and McAdam
Harrison handballs
A high standard with contested football all over the
ground
And another to Joyce...
Still a long way ahead at the last break but outscored
in the third quarter. Burgess demands a strong last quarter or spend time on the
bench.
Corbett and Anderson continued their excellent games
McEvoy started to hold a few
Gill took a handball from McEvoy and had a long shot
but... And another to Joyce...
Whittle was challenged by the coach at the last break
and responded in fine form.
Yes Joycey, other players are
allowed to kick goals!
Leaping McEvoy getting some
timing back
What a difference a week makes. Richmond at home next week - should be a cracker.
