Round 12 - 27 June Reserves v OHA
Last
Half 08.07
(050)
Another wet day and this game was the only one played. Other teams shared the points. The reserves had a gutsy win to put themselves back into the top four while the seniors had their most disappointing loss for the season against last year's premiers.

Coach Nick Whittle pulled on the boots and kicked a critical goal in the last
quarter
Sweet victory!

Half time and a strong OHA side has widened its lead

Ump agrees that Gowans had his arm held and a strong tackle to Hill as Evans
comes to assist

Jones clears apath for his captain and another possession to Gilmore
Not good conditions for
high-marking big men.

Jones snaps as his dad Greg and friend Jan from Melbourne watch on.

Quality players like Burgess play well in any conditions

Riseley gets another touch

Not the classic position to take a mark!
Evans and Burgess

A vocal crowd

Fantastic
goal to Welch from a long way out

Brooks skips across the mud

It was going to be a slog to get back into the game

Burgess and Gowans kept trying but no fairytale ending this week

Hill puts his body on the line and gets a rib-rattler and a late mark to Maguire
A bit of a dirty day all round for the seniors but great to see the reserves in
the four!
