A beautiful day after a week cloud and rain saw both sides take the old foe to the cleaners. Beams, Green and Reeves were absent from the forward line but some handy replacements came in.

Third Quarter

Goal to Woodhead who booted a couple and Gilligan who was in the best.

 
Mastracola continued his excellent season.

 
King and Fenton applied dash and pressure.

Douglas was tough at ground level and named in the best.

 
Collis kicked four and was named in the best players for his efforts.

Douglas led several forward attacks and Stevens found some form after missing several weeks with injury.
