Round 5 - 9th May v St Virgils

Seniors - Second Half

Despite rain and snow during the week, the games was played in almost perfect conditions. The Reserves put up a better performance and the Seniors controlled the game for three quarters until St Virgils surged in the last.

Adams provides a timely fist, Bielski was classy and a strong mark to a bandaged Ben Mathewson.

with Agfest and the AFL game at Bluntstone Arena, the crowd was thin but enjoyed a close game. Pity to see ex-Rainbow, Field Reeves on crutches.

 
Ryan Davis was named best player while Mathewson battled hard.

Pascoe, Flood and Corbett seemed to be doing enough to secure a win but their good play wasn't translated to the score board.

Adams was named in the best and Gilligan was a solid contrubuter.

A three goal lead at the last break indicated a likely win but St Virgils hadn't given up.
