Two excellent wins against Richmond on a chilly July day. Congratulations to John Saner on his 100th game.

Reserves - Last Quarter

John Saner - 100 games and captain of a winning team

Seniors - First Half

Richmond are always tough to beat on their home ground

The new changerooms are impressive

Rippon, Lewinski and Arnold with some early touches

Rippon again and Corbett marked everything that strayed into the backline.

Goal to Burgess

Davis provided some dash

Reeves kicked four

Cracknell put in another solid performance and Matuszek soars high - well, gets off the ground!

McAdam had some big men to contend with. Uni had numbers at the ball and used it extremely well in the first quarter.

Beams kicked 7 and was handy around the ground as well.

Herron was a handy tall and Rippon in the action again

More marks to Corbett who was BOG

Another Beams goal and mark to Arnold

Gardiner and Beams

Slick handball from Matuszek, back on the turf, created another opportunity for Beams

Marks to Corbett and Reeves

Wonderful goal to Fenton from the boundary

Probably their best quarter of football for the year and six goals up. A warning about Richmond's capacity to come back proved to be true.

Mc Adam and Matuszek battling to stem the flood of Richmond goals

Corbett continued his fine work and Bielski in the action

Anderson and Lewinski

Steadying goal from Bielski

Lewinski and Cracknell really had their hands full as Richmond made the most of the breeze

Herron, Anderson and Fenton

A late goal to Fenton was handy

Beams and Corbett used their experience to right the ship.

A six goal lead was cut to less than two by the long break. Uni came out firing again in the third quarter kicking six goals to three, setting up a five goal with and taking them to equal points with Richmond.
