Quite a few out with injuries amongst other things and the reserves struggled to stay with St Virgils in the last quarter. The seniors seemed to have the game well in control at the last break but were nearly overrun by a spirited opposition. A couple of late goals won the four points and it was a credit to the team to fight back after the Saints led by 10 points in the last.

The coach asked his team to overrun the opposition in
the last but had to withstand an onslaught themselves.
Late goal to Whittle in the dark saved the day.
