Round 3 - v Hutchins

The first encounter with the Beans for 2014 was a close tussle with Hutchins proving a bit too strong in the last quarter. The Reserves had a comfortable win in the end but it had been a closr contest for three quarters. The senior game was enjoyed by a gathering of some members of the 1992/3 premiership teams.

Hutchins have had the upper hand over the past few years 

 
One win and one loss for the season so far and some key players including Cam Burgess and Ben Beams out with injury.

The heavens opened up in the first quarter which became a real slippery slog.

 
Only three points down at the first break.

 
The sun emerged for the second quarter and Uni held a three pont lead at the long break.

Rob Hill took a terrific mark and converted to keep his side in the hunt. 

 
Hutchins were a bit more composed in the last minutes and held on to win. Uni have the bye then Channel away.
