Round 20 - Reserves Last Quarter

Last game for the 2011 season, against Hutchins, and also the Supporter's Group luncheon attended by a hardy few who had to contend with an oversupply of food and Crownies! Thanks Mal.

A difficult year for the Reserves but credit to them for effort and spirit

The bright start continued with Reeves kicking the first of his eight

Clever dribbled goal to Reeves

Stride gave domonance in the air

Rainbow brilliance on and above the ground!

Winston mark led to another goal

Saunders kept the Hutchins forwards under control

An excellent quarter that delighted the onlookers and a handy 21 point lead at the main break

Goals to McCarthy and Stewart. Both teams went goal for goal for most of the third quarter

Mark to Gowans and goal to Stewart

Burgess was determined to secure a last game victory over the old rivals

Still up by over 3 goals at the last break but unfortunately the effort to produce three brilliant quarters was about to take its toll

The Reeves goal kicking machine continued to produce the goods

A disappointing blow out in the last quarter but a great effort and appreciated by those who witnessed this entertaining game.

Skipper Cam Burgess thanks retiring Coach Ben Beams for his guidance over the last three years.
Burgess has put his hand up for the coaching job next year.
